Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of rescomair.com and the referral service offered through it. Using the site or submitting a request means you accept them.
What this service is
Rescom Air Corp. is a free referral service. We connect people who need air conditioning or HVAC work in the Tampa area with one independent licensed and insured HVAC contractor.
Rescom Air Corp. is not an HVAC contractor. We do not perform air conditioning or HVAC work of any kind. Specifically, Rescom Air Corp. does not:
- diagnose, repair, install, maintain, or service HVAC equipment
- employ, supervise, direct, or control any technician who performs work for you
- prepare, set, negotiate, or collect payment for the price of HVAC work
- enter into a contract with you for HVAC work
- apply for or hold permits for HVAC work
- warrant, guarantee, or insure any work performed by a referred contractor
Florida regulates air conditioning contracting. Rescom Air Corp. does not hold itself out as a licensed contractor, does not advertise as one, and does not offer to perform or undertake contracting work.
The contractor's role
The independent licensed and insured HVAC contractor you are referred to is solely responsible for:
- assessing and diagnosing your system
- preparing and issuing its own estimate and setting its own prices
- entering into its own contract directly with you
- obtaining any required permits and arranging inspections
- performing all work, and employing and supervising the personnel who perform it
- maintaining its own license and insurance
- any warranty or guarantee on parts, labor, or workmanship
Your legal and financial relationship for the work is with that contractor, not with Rescom Air Corp. Any dispute about the work, the price, scheduling, or a warranty is between you and the contractor.
Verify before you hire
We encourage you to verify any contractor before authorizing work. Florida licenses air conditioning contractors specifically, and license status can be checked through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. You may also ask any contractor for a certificate of insurance and a written scope and price before work begins.
No guarantees
Rescom Air Corp. makes no guarantee regarding:
- contractor availability, scheduling, arrival time, or response time
- the price, scope, quality, timing, or outcome of any work
- whether your equipment can be repaired, or whether repair or replacement is the better choice
- eligibility for any utility rebate, incentive, manufacturer warranty, or insurance coverage
The service is provided on an as-is basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Information on this site
Cost figures, technical explanations, permitting summaries, housing data, and climate information on this site are general educational content drawn from third-party published sources including contractors, cost publishers, government agencies, utilities, and industry organizations. They are provided for planning and comparison.
No figure on this site is a price offered by Rescom Air Corp., and none is a quote for your specific job. Only a licensed contractor who has examined your system can price your work. Program terms, rebate amounts, permit requirements, and prices change, and you should confirm current details with the relevant utility, agency, or contractor.
Submitting a request
By submitting a request or calling, you confirm the information you provide is accurate, and you agree that Rescom Air Corp. and the referred contractor may contact you by phone, text, or email about it. Submitting a request does not obligate you to hire anyone, and the referral and estimate are free.
If you are requesting work on property you do not own, you are responsible for obtaining the owner's or property manager's authorization.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rescom Air Corp. is not liable for any damages arising from work performed or not performed by a referred contractor, from the acts or omissions of any contractor, from delay or unavailability of service, or from reliance on general information published on this site.
